For individuals, the documents accepted as proof of your professional activity are, among others:
• the most recent pay slip,
• the employment contract,
• the recent 037 form detailing the activity (registration of activity for the self-employed),
• the Employment History (Vida Laboral) report,
• enrolment certificates (for students),
• pension, benefit or unemployment certificates, or the equivalent document in your country of tax residence,
• for the self-employed, VAT and personal income tax returns are accepted.
In the case of minors, documentation from parents or legal guardians needs to be included.
The documents accepted as proof of your financial capacity include, among others:
• the tax return for the current or previous tax year, if the current tax return has not yet been filed because the legal deadline has not yet expired. In the case of non-residents, they can file the income tax return in their country of tax residence accompanied by Form 210, if they also file it,
• the last four quarters of Form 303 (self-assessment VAT return) or Form 390 (annual VAT return).
If you do not have gainful employment, you need to include a copy of the financial standing documentation of the person providing the income and state your relationship with said person.
You can provide the documentation in PDF, TXT, JPG, BMP or PNG format. The file must not exceed 20 MB. To do this, access your remote banking from the website, and go to the drop-down menu next to your name. Then select Digital Documentation > Shared Documents.
